A REAL BLAST FROM THE PAST AND NOT ONE TO BE MISSED IN 2022 - THE ALL NEW 'COAST TO COAST CHALLENGE' RUN 2022. - Many of you out there will still fondly recall the heady days of The BTBC National Coast to Coast Rally Challenge, when up to, and over 70 Bigtrailbikes would descend on Flamborough Head Light House to compete in this very special Biktrailbike navigation rally. Some of you may even still have the T-shirts or trophies from one or more of the years this remarkable event ran (Make sure you bring them for the C2C Run)! So, in memory of this truly wonderful event and to celebrate eventually getting out of lock-down, again!, we once more give you the all new, 'Coast to Coast Challenge' Run 2022. This run will build on 2021 and take in many of the very best roads and lanes the event covered over the years, all in the true spirit of the event itself, while traveling from sea to shining sea across this stunning part of the country. A real 'Old School' Bigtrailbike run, including all the very best roads and lanes that formed part of this spectacular challenge. All wrapped up in a fantastic weekend away on the bike with like minded people. The trip will include 3 days of riding the best and most obscure roads and lanes from the coast to coast rally (don't worry, you won't have to worry about navigation!), along with two nights superb hotel accommodation in stunning locations overlooking each coast on a B&B basis. All you have to do is reserve your place, service your bike, then find your way to the start and home from the finish, what could be easier or more enjoyable? Definitely not a trip to miss in 2022.
Those who can, will meet up Friday, just before lunchtime in a central location, to hopefully give everyone the chance to join in from anywhere in the UK and to give us all a little more time to take in the many great routes these areas have to offer. Due to the location of our hotels and the demanding and obscure route, this trip will be strictly limited on numbers, so please book in as soon possible to avoid disappointment. If any single rooms are available, they will be offered at extra cost to early bookers from the top of the 'Who's Going' list down until they are gone.

Please note the planned departure times below - always be fully fueled for the start please and make sure your bike is well serviced ready for the trip.
Day 1 - Friday 9th September. New Meeting Place, in, or near the far end of the Coach Park, across from the fuel pumps, up from Greggs, at Moto Ferrybridge Services J33, A1(M), where it crosses the M62. Follow the Coach signs as you enter and fuel up as you arrive please.@10.40 (earlier if you want breakfast) for an 11:00am departure. (WF11 0AF). The afternoon sees us pass through the Yorkshire flats, then up into the breathtaking North York Moors on a very interesting and complicated route visiting some old favorites, to eventually arrive at our stunning hotel near the C2C start on the East Coast around 17:30. Then it will be time for a good BTB social, good food and maybe even a wee drink, before bed.
Day 2 - Saturday 10th September. After a good early breakfast overlooking the east coast, we will all set off on our wonderful and complicated C2C route. Again using many of the classic C2C B roads and lesser, we will head west, back thought the North York Moors, taking in some more fondly memorable surprises, before heading across and into the dramatic Yorkshire Dales on our classic C2C route, heading across towards the Lake District. After what will no doubt be a fantastic day of classic BTB C2C roads and lanes, we will eventually arrive around 6pm at our second Hotel, this time overlooking the sea on the West Coast of England, for yet another night of C2C stories, food and maybe another wee drink before hitting the sack.
Day 3 - Sunday 11th September. After another good breakfast, we will turn our rear wheel to the west coast and head back east through the Lake district and on into the Yorkshire Dales for another morning of fun and C2C memories. Yet more fantastic classic BTB C2C roads and lanes before finishing around lunch time close to our starting point on the Friday, within easy reach of the A1/M1/M62, giving all plenty of time to make it home at a reasonable hour, wherever home might be.
In the past, this event has been one of the highlights of the BTBC calendar. The roads and lanes we will use are amongst the very best, if not the best, in the country, with very little traffic. So, don't be disappointed or disappointing. Get your name down for what will be a truly memorable weekend of BTB C2C fun. Limited numbers due to the location, digs and a very complex route.
